PlayStation Store is running a huge summer deal that has seen the price of some of the massively popular AAA games drop by 50% or more. The wave of price slashes affected over 3,000 items. However, we want to focus on those that got over 50% discount.
As we ran through the list of deals, the first thing that we discovered was that some discounts are tiered. In other words, some discounts can only be enjoyed by Premium or Extra subscribers. Nevertheless, there are still more than a handful of games that have been discounted for everyone.
Also, it is important to mention that the discounts run for games on PS5 and PS4. The discount offer will end on August 3, 2023, by 7:59 am GMT+1. Therefore, if any of the games have been on your watchlist, you need to act fast.
Triple-A games with 50% or more discount on PlayStation Store

The price of The Last of Us Part II was slashed from $39.99 to $19.99 on PlayStation Store. The Last of Us Part I also got a price slash but only by 29%—and didn’t make this list.
Need for Speed: Unbound Palace Edition – 70% discount
The Unbound Palace Edition of Need for Speed which has 4 new custom cars, palace driving effects, a stacked palace clothing pack, palace decals and license plate, and tri-ferg pose and banner artwork is now available on the PlayStation Store for $23.99, a 70% decrease from the original $79.99.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege Deluxe Edition – 75% discount
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege was slammed with a 75% discount on the PlayStation Store which saw the price of the deluxe edition drop from $39.99 to $9.99. The Ultimate Edition of the game got a 50% discount which saw the price drop from $99.99 to $49.99.
Forspoken – 50% discount
Forspoken follows the story of Frey, a young rebellious New Yorker, that was transported to the beautiful world of Athia that has been overtaken by an evil force. With her newfound magical abilities, she has to transverse the sprawling landscape and try to restore order to the world. Instead of $69.99, you can now get the game for $34.99 on the PlayStation Store.
Resident Evil Village – 50% discount
The Standard Edition of Resident Evil Village was discounted from $39.99 to $19.99 on the PlayStation Store. The Gold Edition Bundle which has Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Resident Evil Village was also treated to a 50% discount which saw the price drop from $79.99 to $39.99.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – 50% discount
Grand Theft Auto is one of the biggest franchises in the history of video games. It is not surprising that GTA 6 leaks have become one of the most searched words on the Internet. Now, you can get Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy on PS4 and PS5 for $29.99 instead of the original $59.99.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns Legendary Edition – 60% discount
