“To the NASCAR game community,” read the announcement from Motorsport Games on X. “From December 31, 2024, all NASCAR game titles and their DLC content will no longer be available for purchase on all digital storefronts.”

However, this doesn’t mean that the game will become unplayable after this time. Those who own the game will continue to enjoy it, and physical copies of the game may still be found in brick-and-mortar stores.

In NASCAR Heat 5, players are challenged to become the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion. It featured all the official teams, drivers, and cars from the three NASCAR National Series as well as the Xtreme Dirt Tour, racing on 39 authentic tracks. The game developed by 704Games Company and published by Motorsport Games has Very Positive reviews on Steam.

The games that will be pulled off digital storefronts include NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Rivals, and NASCAR Ignition franchises. Before the big date, the developer said it will run promotions this December that will allow you “to complete your NASCAR console game collection while you can!”
