Annapurna Interactive held its annual games showcase on Monday, February 24, 2025. The show paraded a long list of games that players should expect from the publisher this year—including a few surprises.
What we loved about their games is the diversity which ensures that regardless of the type of games you fancy, there is something on the roaster for you to look up to. Most of the games will be published on all major platforms including PS5, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Without further chitchats, here is everything announced at Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025.

Wheel World (Summer 2025)
Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025 began with a trip to Messhof studio to give us an extended view and a back story about their upcoming title Wheel World. The game is being developed by a small team of 10. It veers into the 3D space which deviates from the 2D games the studio is used to. The founders Mark Essen and Kristy Norindr explained how challenging it was.
Wanderstop (March 11, 2025)
This year’s Annapurna Interactive Showcase hit differently because of how it featured backstories from the developers. Rather than just showing trailers of upcoming games, we got to hear from the developers and share their experiences. Writer and creative director of Wanderstop, Davey Wreden explained how his team has talked him out of just quietly releasing games. In the showcase, he was “forced” to talk about Wanderstop, revealing how the game is about people’s responses when going through changes they don’t want to go through.
Skin Deep (April 30, 2025)
Brendon Chung, the creative director of Blendo Games walked us through a personal history about his computer and how he started making games. He started Blendo Games after the studio he was working at shut down in 2010. Chung revealed that Skin Deep started in 2018. What is interesting about the game is that it was created by a team in different parts of the world. Skin Deep was developed using the Doom 3 engine released in 2004.

Cocoon Collector’s Edition
The next stop on Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025 was Geometric Interactive, the studio that gave us Cocoon in 2023. Due to the positive reception of the game, the developers have partnered with iam8bit to make a collector’s edition of the game which will come with a vinyl soundtrack. Geometric Interactive is partnering with Annapurna again to make a new game. That’s all we know for now.
Lushfoil Photography Sim (Early 2025)
Matt Newell, the sole creator of Lushfoil Photography Sim was available to talk about his project. Newell said the reason he called it Lushfoil was because he loved to stuff as many plants as possible into the scene. The game gives players the freedom to roam around and discover themselves. Altogether, there are 10 different regions in the game for players to explore.
Faraway (2025)
We got into the mind of sole developer Steph Thirion, the creator of Faraway. He described Faraway as “an infinitely replayable immersive, cosmic game experience about a shooting star that wants to stay alive and travel and see the universe, and does that by creating constellations in the starry sky”. Looks really interesting already.
