Bloober Team recently released its annual report. Although it was written in Polish, Projekt Parasol extracted important information from the report and posted it on X. Speaking about the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, the team said they were “very confident about the final result”.
“We don’t hide it internally or externally – this is the most important test of our actions,” Bloober Team said in the report.
The unveiling of the second trailer of Silent Hill 2 in January 2024 sparked a debate. At the time of writing, the video had 51% likes against 49% dislikes. Bloober Team president Piotr Babieno later weighed into the debate saying the trailer “does not reflect the spirit of the game”, adding that Konami was responsible for the marketing—and might have missed the mark.

“It is not the spirit of either what it used to be or what we are creating now,” Babieno said. “We are trying to fully reflect this romantic vision about the game, which debuted 22 years ago. We think that when players see the real gameplay, the real game, they will judge it in a completely different way.”
Bloober Team is working on Project C with Private Division
Bloober Team wants to make a mark in the horror genre. In the final report translated by @pl_evil, the company confirmed that the new game will be announced later this year. Part of the annual report in reference to the project read:
“Project C, which we are working on together with Private Division (Take-Two Interactive), is currently well advanced, and we are very pleased with the current progress. This will be the next big step of Bloober Team in order to implement a long-term strategy. It will also be the first new original project (IP belongs to Bloober Team) as part of the new strategy.”

According to the financial report, the Bloober Team has Projects C, G, E, F, I, M, and R all under development. Bloober Team is the studio behind Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, Observer, and Medium. While sketchy details have been revealed about some of the projects they are currently working on, others remain a mystery. However, it appears the team has its hands full for years to come.
Bloober Team is working with Skybound on Project R
What has been codenamed Project R is a collaboration between the Bloober Team and Skybound. The game is based on an IP owned by Skybound and is planned for release sometime in 2025. Part of the financial report in reference to Project R read:
“Conclusion by the Issuer on December 20, 2023, of the license and publishing agreement with the company Skybound Game Studios, Inc. registered in Delaware, USA (“Shybound”), on the basis of which the Issuer was granted a license to create a game based on the IP owned by Skybound, which will be used in the production of a new project of the Issuer called Code “Project R”.
Project B, Project C, and Project G all fall under the Bloober Team’s internal projects—which are projects developed by the teams of the company. These projects will be “published both in the formula of self-publishing by the company, as well as in the form of cooperation with an external publisher or platform holder, which co-finances or completely finances the production of a given project”.

Since Project C falls under this category, it is not clear at the moment if the game—which is billed as a survival horror—will be partly or entirely financed by Private Division.
On the other hand, Project E, Project F, Project I, Project M, and Project R, all fall under Bloober Team’s other development projects. These projects are “implemented productively in cooperation with external entities and subsidiaries and affiliates of the group”.
