From the earnings report, we saw that Dragon’s Dogma 2 had sold over 2.6 million units as of March 31, 2024. However, the game that shone the brightest for Capcom was Resident Evil 4 which sold 3.39 million units, pushing its lifetime sales to 7,026 units. Second on the log was Street Fighter 6 which sold 3.3 million units.

Before the release of Street Fighter 6 back in June 2023, Capcom’s president said the target was to sell 10 million units of the game. The current record is held by Street Fighter 5 which has sold 7.4 million. The new report shows that Street Fighter 6 is way behind the company’s target, nearly a year after its release.
