Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm is back to streaming after a long hiatus which began with the revelation in June on why he was banned on Twitch. In a 20+ minutes video, the streamer famous for rocking a red and black combat suit and glasses said people missed the point in his personal statement on X, therefore he would explain himself again.
Dr Disrespect announced an “extended vacation” and disappeared from view after allegations surfaced that sending inappropriate messages to a minor was the reason he was banned on Twitch. Following that revelation, his world started crumbling and he lost everything from followers to sponsorships.
The charismatic streamer announced his return with a cinematic trailer posted on X, a day before streaming. In the trailer, he was seen riding a speed boat on a rocky sea back to the shore. The speedboat had the iconic logo of the streamer on the roof and the video was created with quality and aesthetics that has earned the streamer dedicated followers. However, what kept many talking was his cryptic comment under the video.

The first sign of activity on Dr Disrespect’s social media account was recorded in late July, over a month after his disappearance. Fans noticed that the banner image of his X account had changed to a boober slapped with his iconic logo and attached to a fishing line.
The post announcing his return has garnered 11 million views, 6.5K comments, and 42K likes at the time of writing. It is unclear what type of videos Dr Disrespect will stream after returning to YouTube. The question on the lips of many is where the restoration of the streamer’s career will start.
Dr Disrespect’s side of the story and what next
Appearing in front of the camera for the first time since June, Dr Disrespect explained that as part of the lawsuit with Twitch which was eventually resolved, all parties were gagged from speaking to the public about the case. According to him, “If one side violated that confidentiality, then the other side could respond”.
He called out Cody Conners, the ex-twitch employee whose confession started the June saga asking, “Why do this? What was the point?” The streamer went ahead to accuse Conners of falsifying what happened.
“Did you not know the repercussion from spewing lies about the ‘Two Time’,” Dr Disrespect said. “You don’t know sh*t and it was obvious from your tweet.”
“You didn’t have any first-hand knowledge of my dispute with Twitch. You said that I got banned from Twitch because I was sexting a minor through Whispers Messages. Do you even know what the legal definition of sexting is? I do! Yeah, I used Twitch Whispers but trust me I wasn’t sexting anyone.”

Dr Disrespect pointed out that Conners and the “so-called” journalists, and Twitch did not consider that the “minor” in reference might have been above the legal age at the time they exchanged messages.
The streamer also disputed the report that he was planning to meet the user at TwitchCon. “Let’s set the record straight,” he said. “I never intended to meet this user ever. We never made any plans to meet at TwitchCon or anywhere else and in fact, we never met in person ever.”
However, his focus at the moment is rejoining the YouTube Partner program. He said he has been given September 25 to reapply for the YouTube Partner Program. By the way, he can still earn from donations from his fans. During the 20+ minute video, there were popups of people donating to the streamer.
