Epic Games Store is trying to woo PC gamers to its platform with free games. Every week, it gives out two games for free. The next free games—Fallout Classic Collection and Wild Card Football—went live on August 29 and will stay free until September 5.
The Fallout Classic Collection includes the first Fallout game, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. This is the perfect entry into the Fallout universe for anyone who just discovered the game through the Amazon Prime series.
Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game
The first Fallout game was released in 1997 and is credited as the game that revolutionized the CRPG genre. It allows different characters, decisions, and development that put players in control.

“Explore the devastated ruins of a golden age civilization,” read the game’s description. “Talk, sneak, or fight your way past mutants, gangsters, and robotic adversaries. Make the right decisions or you could end up as another fallen hero in the wastelands.”
Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game
Following the success of the first game, Fallout 2 was released the following year. It was similar to the first game in graphics and mechanics. However, it was set 80 years after the first game. Mastering your character’s traits and skills is the key to survival.

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel
The turn-based real-time game was developed by Micro Forte and 14 Degrees East and set in the Fallout universe. It was released in 2001 for Windows and its story doesn’t tie in to the previous games in the franchise. Instead, the story follows a squad of the Brotherhood of Steel as they are engulfed in war.

Wild Card Football
This is a 7v7 arcade-style football game that features a unique Wild Card system that allows players to change the course of the action with special rule-breaking abilities and power-ups. It has hundreds of professional players that gamers can choose from. It also has unlockable players and rewards.
