The first trailer of GTA 6 was released on December 5, 2023. Ever since, fans have eagerly anticipated a new trailer, especially one that will have a glimpse of gameplay. However, that has not happened. Now, most fans are convinced the second trailer of GTA 6 will happen on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Part of the speculation was fueled by the update of the placeholder images on the developer’s website. Data miners also dug through the codes and found interesting details. Ned Luke, the actor who portrayed Michael De Santa in the 2013 Grand Theft Auto V also weighed in on the conspiracy with a tweet that has attracted over 1.2K comments.

The reveal trailer of GTA 6 broke the internet, attracting over 100 million views in the first 48 hours. While GTA 5 received a lifetime of 2.1 million likes, the first trailer of the next installment received 7.9 million likes in the first 17 hours. The numbers shot the trailer to #1 trending in gaming on YouTube.
Why the GTA 6 trailer two reveal is likely untrue
The staff of many companies are on vacation at this time of the year. Therefore, it is likely untrue that any major changes or updates will happen now. Another reason why the rumor was rife was because a GTA 6 video was found in the code with a maximum age of the Cache-Control set to 21293 seconds which is around six hours.
However, it is important to mention that the max-age of the Cache-Control is not related to video scheduling. Instead, it is how long the web browser stores resources before it pulls fresh data from the server. This helps make the web page load faster and prevents server overload.
