Microsoft’s next Xbox Partner Preview will stream on Wednesday, February 6, 2024. The time of the event is 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET / 6 pm GMT. New and upcoming games from publishers like EA, Nexon, and Capcom are expected to be showcased. The 30-minute preview will include over a dozen new trailers.
“During Xbox Partner Preview, you can learn more about combat and traversal in Tales of Kenzera: Zau, with a video narrated by Abubakar Salim himself, see new gameplay from Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, get a closer look at The First Berserker: Khazan, and other great titles coming to Xbox, Windows, or Game Pass,” said Mike Nelson, Xbox Wire Editor.
“Our Xbox Partner Preview format is all about sharing exciting game news from our talented studios from across the globe with no frills: just new game reveals, release date announcements, and fresh new gameplay from upcoming games, coupled with unique behind-the-scenes stories from developers on Xbox Wire.”

The Microsoft Xbox Partner Preview will air on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms including YouTube and Twitch. Although the YouTube stream will be in 4K at 60fps, the maximum resolution of the stream on other platforms will be 1080p at 60fps. Nelson also confirmed that the event will be streamed in over 40 languages including British Sign Language, American Sign Language, and English Audio Description.
While Microsoft welcomes co-streamers, they cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions by bots which they described as “forces beyond our control”. Also, co-streamers are warned to be wary of using audio from the Xbox Partner Preview since some of them may contain copyrighted music.
Xbox held a Developer_Direct showcase in January
In January, Xbox held a Developer_Direct showcase where they traveled to four different studios including Oxide Games, Obsidian Entertainment, Ninja Theory, and MachineGames to showcase the projects they were working on.
The talking point from that event was Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The upcoming title which is being developed by MachineGames will play in both first- and third-person view and the character will have Harrison Ford’s likeness.

It was later rumored that the upcoming title is one of the games that Xbox was planning to bring to rival platforms. However, Microsoft’s gaming division held a business update where they confirmed that it was not one of the four games planned for rival platforms. They also confirmed that Xbox Series X|S won’t be the last console from the company.
“There’s some exciting stuff coming out in hardware that we’re going to share this holiday,” Xbox president Sarah Bond said, “and we’re also invested in the next generation roadmap. What we’re really focused on there is delivering the largest technical leap you will have ever seen in a hardware generation.”
Xbox is launching a special SpongeBob Series X in collaboration with Best Buy
Xbox has announced a special collaboration with Best Buy, GameMill, and Paramount Game Studios to bring fans a special SpongeBob SquarePants-themed Xbox Series X. Fans will get the exclusive opportunity to buy one of the limited Xbox Series X – Nicolodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle through the Best Buy Mobile App.

The bundle will include the console which is covered by SpongeBob SquarePants with his iconic smile. Also included in the bundle is an Xbox Wireless Controller also wearing the SpongeBob theme, as well as a digital download code for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.
