The year is fast winding down but we are already getting a glimpse of what is to come next year. In what will seem like a surprise, Pocketpair has announced that Palworld will get a Terraria crossover in 2025.
“2024 isn’t finished yet for Palworld and we have some exciting news about the next update coming VERY SOON…,” read the announcement on X. “But first, we want to tell you about something happening in 2025! Palworld x Terraria. More info coming soon!”

Terraria is a 2011 release by Re-Logic in which players dig, fight, explore, and build. The game has an Overwhelmingly Positive review on Steam, and nothing is impossible in this action-packed adventure game.
On the other hand, Palworld is Pocketpair’s breakout release where players “Fight, farm, build, and work alongside mysterious creatures called ‘Pals’” in what the developer described as a “new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game!”
In the comments under the announcement, Palworld fans expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming collaboration.
An X user with the user @MeowMoonified wrote, “I have never played Terraria but I love Palworld and anything that does something with Palworld is awesome in my book.”
Another comment from @Lost_Pause_ read, “As if I needed ANOTHER reason to play Terraria again. Let’s goooooo.”
Others used the opportunity to express their support for Palworld. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company recently dragged the developer to court for patent infringement. Interestingly, the patents under contention were all registered after the release of Palworld.
