However, some players have used the opportunity to report bugs they have encountered in the game so far. One X user with the handle @TwippyHippy wrote, “There’s a bug on console that’s making you buy things on the shop while trying to interact with the jenga pieces and basketballs in the pre lobby. There’s also a bug stopping you from being able to place or drop the tier 1 tripods.”

At the time of writing, the company has yet to reply to any of the comments left under their celebratory post. However, that may be because the developer has asked those experiencing issues to report on the official Phasmophobia Discord channel. Phasmophobia was launched on September 18, 2020. It has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam.

Phasmophobia Ships Over 20 Million Copies Across All Platforms

Phasmophobia received a Halloween event called Crimson Eye on October 28, 2024, on Steam. The event also came with a significant update to the game that included optimizations and bug fixes. See the full patch note here.

Shipping 20 million copies since launch is not a small feat and part of that number can be attributed to the game’s console launch. You can purchase Phasmophobia and three other spooky games for $30, thanks to the Spooky Buddies Bundle on Steam.
