Bethesda released a new Starfield update on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The update comes with two new free Creations including a space land vehicle for navigation and the highly requested Achievement toggle for Creations.
“Thank you to the over 15 million players who are adventuring through the stars in Starfield!” the studio wrote in its latest post announcing the free update.

“We’re thrilled that so many of you have embarked on this journey with us, and we appreciate your feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve your experience playing the game and wanted to give our community an update on the most recent adjustments we’ve made to Starfield.”
Xbox users have reported myriads of problems with Starfield’s performance on Series X including those that affected the Tracker’s Alliance quests. The new update has now fixed most of the known issues.
“As a special gift to our players for our 15 million player landmark, get ready to conquer the terrain of unexplored planets with the all-new Deimog, the latest addition to Starfield’s lineup of high-performance land vehicles,” the studio said.
“Built for speed and endurance, the Deimog features a fully enclosed cabin to keep you protected as you race through rugged landscapes. Its exceptional handling allows you to navigate even the trickiest terrain with ease, while a powerful rocket launcher ensures you’re prepared for any threats—be it hostile wildlife or clusters of enemies.”
Starfield fans can download Deimog from the Creations menu or through the Creations site. The new update will tweak gameplay and quests. See the full update note here.
It is important to highlight that the 15 million players that Bethesda mentioned may not have all bought the game since Starfield is free on Game Pass—from where many players likely experienced it.
Starfield might not have hit the sweet spot that Bethesda had hoped for. From reaching peak concurrent players of 330,597, the game now has less than 10,000 daily concurrent players.
