Bungie Lays Off 220 Staff Sparking A New Wave Of Backlash

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Bungie announced that it was carving a new path that would lead to the layoff of 220 employees

Sumo Group was acquired by Tencent in January 2022. It is made up of Sumo Digital, Auroch Digital, and Secret Mode.

It is unclear when the new PS5 boxes without the 8K branding started rolling out. However, it appears it may have started last year.
