When an accident leads to damage to the oil drilling platform he was working on, he is trapped with no way to escape. He also has to deal with a mysterious monster that is out for his life and harsh weather conditions. It is played from a first-person perspective and bagged an average Metacritic score of 83 on Xbox, 77 on PC, and 74 on PS5.

#3. Until Dawn (Released October 4, 2024)

The first Until Dawn game was released in 2015 and was developed by Supermassive Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The remake received several graphical upgrades on PC including Ray-tracing support, unlocked frame rates, and upscaling with NVIDIA DLSS 3 & AMD FSR 3.

The entire game was rebuilt using the Unreal Engine 5. It was developed by UK-based Ballistic Moon.
