Xbox has announced four new titles that would be added to its Game Pass services accessible through console, cloud, and PC. Some of the titles on the list will be added to the subscription service on day one of release. Find below the list of games announced and when they’ll be available.
Start Trucker (September 3)
Developed by Monster and Monster, a small passionate indie studio obsessed with sim and sci-fi, Star Trucker lets players have a taste of the thrill that comes with driving a rocket-powered truck. Players can do everything from scavenging for salvage, hauling cargo, and interacting with other truckers. The game launched on September 3, 2024, and was available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Age of Mythology: Retold (September 4)
Age of Mythology: Retold brings the best elements from its predecessor and pairs them with modern real-time strategy design and visuals. The game was developed by a team comprising World’s Edge, Forgotten Empires, Tantalus Media, CaptureAge, and Virtuos Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. Age of Mythology: Retold will come to Game Pass on September 4.
Expeditions: A MudRunner Game (September 5)
Expeditions: A MudRunner Game was developed by Saber Interactive, the same studio that made SnowRunner and MudRunner. It allows players to embark on scientific expeditions in an all-new off-road adventure. Lead research missions driving in various kinds of all-terrain vehicles. It launched on March 5, 2024, to a mixed reception. Game Pass subscribers will get a bite on September 5.
Riders Republic (September 11)
Fans of extreme sports will jump at the news that Raiders Republic will come to Game Pass on September 11. The game was developed and published by Ubisoft on June 8, 2023. What’s your favorite extreme sport, bike, ski, snowboard, or wingsuit? Whatever it is, Raiders Republic is the paradise where the rules are yours to make.
Train Sim World 5 (September 17)
If you have ever thought of what driving a certain kind of train would feel like, Train Sim World 5 will make that dream come alive when it launches on September 17. Developed and published by Dovetail Games, Train Sim World 5 presents new challenges, roles, and 3 new routes that will challenge old players. It will be available on day one with Game Pass.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass
While the games coming to Xbox Game Pass create excitement, subscribers who have already grown attached to the games below will be sad to hear that they will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 15, 2024. Players who wish to keep any of the games can do so using their 20% membership discount to purchase the game and keep it in their library.

- Payday 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Slime Rancher 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- SpiderHeck (Cloud, Console, and PC)

In addition to games coming and leaving Game Pass, Xbox also announced perks that would be available to the more expensive Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. For example, while playing EA Sports NHL 24, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Starter Pack which features a Prime Pack containing 10 items, 5 Gold Players, and 500 NHL Points.
MultiVersus players will have access to the MVP Pack 2 which includes a Legendary Leave Me Alone Ringout and an Epic Respects Sticker Emote. Similar perks were announced for Metaball and Predecessor.
Microsoft recently made changes to its Xbox Game Pass subscription tiers. The Xbox maker increased the prices of the subscription services and plans to introduce a Standard subscription which will not get any new game release on day one.
