The Xbox Partner Preview held on October 17, 2024, is the second the company has held this year. Some of the games featured in the first edition earlier this year have long been released. Just like the first, the October Xbox Partner Preview was packed.
The roughly 25-minute show featured DLC announcements (particularly Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Expansion), exciting new gameplay to previously announced games, and exclusive world premieres. Here is everything announced at the just concluded October 2024 Xbox Partner Preview.
Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Expansion
The show kicked off with Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Expansion. It featured both gameplay and cinematics with monsters jumping out of the wall. It all began with an issue reported at the Lake House. The DLC will launch on October 22.
Cronos: The New Dawn
Building on the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team has announced Cronos: The New Dawn with a 2025 release window. We also got a glimpse of the third-person action horror game. The protagonist is a masked fighter with a hand that can transform into different weapons. We look forward to this one.
Blindfire
Double Eleven showcased their first-person shooter at the October 2024 Xbox Partner Preview. The Early Access to the game will be available today.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Sega’s upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii gave players a deeper look at what is to come at the Xbox Partner Preview. The boat battles looked a lot like Skull and Bones. However, some battles will also happen on land. It received a February 21, 2025, release date instead of the previous February 28.
Mouse: P.I For Hire
A black and white Mickey Mouse-inspired first-person shooter got its time at the Xbox Partner Preview with a 2025 release window.
Subnautica 2
The game can be played alone or with friends and throws players into a new alien planet. If you are into marine exploration, this is a game to look forward to.
Animal Well

Edens Zero

Eternal Strands
It received a new gameplay trailer that featured new boss fights and environments. The game forces players to make use of their environment.

Playing in the company of a dog named Baboo, you will enter an adventure that brings the unknown. The game will launch in 2025.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
A longer gameplay trailer for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers was showcased at the just concluded October 2024 Xbox Partner Preview. The game feels a lot like what happens when you cross Elden Ring and Black Myth: Wukong.
FBC: Firebreak
Remedy Entertainment showcased a new game called FBC: Firebreak. It is a first-person shooter with a rather unique world, gameplay, and weapons. It is the company’s first-ever multiplayer game.
At the end of the October Xbox Partner Preview, it was revealed that Subnautica 2, Eternal Strands, Wheel World, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and FBC: Firebreak will all come to Game Pass.
